ATV Clubs (British Columbia)Bulkley Valley Quad Riders - The Bulkley Valley Quad Riders is a non-profit club formed by Smithers and area residents to provide a family-oriented group which can get together for various rides and other functions. The BVQR's goal is to promote and sustain the recreational and safe use of All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) in our area. They encourage environmentally-friendly practices in and around their forests by educating those who use ATVs and other off-highway vehicles. Smithers, BC. Cowichan Valley ATV Club - The Cowichan Valley ATV Club rides every weekend, from fun rides to technical rides. Duncan, BC. Creston Valley Quad Squad ATV Club - The Creston Valley Quad Squad organizes group rides east and west of the valley, including overnight trips and barbeques. Meetings are from March to November. Email link only. Creston, BC. Elkford ATV Club - The Elkford ATV club represents over 70 members and is the only ATV/BC-affiliated club in the Elk Valley. They are a responsible group of motorized environmentalists who care a great deal about wildlife and habitat. Elkford, BC. Grand Forks ATV Club - The Grand Forks ATV Club supports future trails and riding areas, environmental issues, and wildlife habitat concerns. Grand Forks, BC. Greater Kamloops ATV Association - The GKAA welcomes all newcomers. Their meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm at the ABC restaurant, with an informal dinner during the meeting. There are no meetings during July and August. Kamloops, BC. Logan Lake ATV Club - The Logan Lake ATV Club is located in the heart of the Highland Valley. The club holds an annual poker run on the May long weekend. They have miles of good trails and plenty of fishing opportunities. They are located in the Lower Mainland (Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley areas) of British Columbia, Canada. Mid-Island ATV Club - The Mid-Island ATV Club works to support ATVing in the mid-Vancouver Island area. They emphasize safe riding while continuing to have fun. Nanaimo, BC. M.O.O.S.E. ATV Club - Formed in 2003, the MOOSE ATV Club supports safe and responsible ATV use in the North Peace Region. Fort St John, BC. Nicola Valley ATV Club - The mission of the Nicola Valley ATV Club is to promote safe and responsible riding, to promote environmental awareness, to promote recreational trail riding, and to work with other user groups for the benefit of all trail users. Merritt, BC. North Trailblazers ATV Club - The Northern Trailblazers ATV Club is all about riding, having fun and exploring. Pouce Coupe Mud Dawgs ATV Club - The Mud Dawgs sponsor the annual Pouce Coupe Mud Bog, and they hold numerous runs and rallies throughout the year. Prince George ATV Club - The Prince George ATV Club protects the right to ride in BC, promotes public safety and environmental responsibility, obtains benefits for ATV members, promotes recreational trail riding, coordinates a summer calendar of events for members, provides a newsletter to members, and works with other user groups for the benefit of all on the trails. Prince George, BC. RidgeRiders ATV Club - The RidgeRiders ATV Club was formed to show support for the ATVing community, and to promote local riding and trail development. Their goals include promoting riding safety, environmental stewardship, and improving the trail system around the Norman, Bobtail, Berman, Bednesti and Cluculz Lakes area. Swamp Donkeys ATV Club - The Swamp Donkeys are working to create and maintain an enjoyable ATV trail system in their area and preserve their rights to enjoy them. Fort St. James, BC. ATV Clubs (Alberta)Bighorn Heritage ATV Society - Their aims are to help maintain and preserve riding areas, to promote unrestricted use of trails, responsible use of terrain and habitat, co-operation with all other recreational users, and to present a united voice against regulation of resources. Crows Nest Pass Quad Squad - The CNP Quad Squad serves ATV enthusiasts throughout the Crowsnest Pass, including the communities of Blairmore, Coleman, Bellevue, and Hillcrest. Their region spans Waterton National Park in the South through to Kananaskis Park in the North. Membership is open to anyone who recreates in the Eastern Slopes of the Southern Rocky Mountains including the C5, Castle Crown, and Westcastle. Their mission is to promote responsible use of the backcountry, stewardship, and family-oriented fun. Outlaw ATV Club - The Outlaws are Edmonton-and-area based ATV club, whose members are interested in having fun and enjoying the sport of quadding and the outdoors. They promote responsible riding and stewardship of the areas in which they ride. ATV Clubs (Washington)Washington Adventure Quads - WAQ is a group of people who enjoy adventure-quadding and overnighters. They participate in everything from family-oriented to extreme runs. ATV Clubs (Other)4x4 Terrenos Expremos - The 4x4 Terrenos Expremos is an ATV club in Veracruz, Mexico. ATV Explorers - Their site motto is "Exploring the Old West one ghost town at a time", which will give you a good idea of what the ATV Explorers are all about. They are a group of adventurous individuals with who enjoy traversing vast distances and visiting remote locations via ATV. They are seeking others with similar interests, and have created their website to show what's out there for those with the burning desire to explore and challenge themselves. They ride in some remote and technically challenging areas that are similar to, and in many cases much more challenging than, the famed Rubicon and Fordyce Trails; the key difference is that there is virtually no chance of anybody else happening by to help if something goes wrong. Reno, NV. ATV Organizations (Canada)Alberta Off-Highway Vehicle Association - The AOHVA helps clean, maintain, promote, and protect off-highway riding areas in the province of Alberta. Check their website for Action Alerts, land use issues, and trail news. ATV Association of Nova Scotia - The objective of the ATVANS is to represent all interested ATV clubs of Nova Scotia. They are concerned with information, facts, insurance coverage, promoting safety training and responsible operation of ATVs, improving the image of ATV users in the eye of the public, promoting responsible access and proper use of public and private land, and promoting the development of environmentally-friendly trail systems. ATV Nature Watch - ATVNW presents and encourages a code of ethics for ATV riders, addressing the following key areas: safety and the environment, sensitive habitats, trail etiquette, private property, and crimes in nature. Developed in conjunction with the COHV (listed below) and the Canadian Ecology Centre. Avalon Trailway Corporation - The Avalon Trailway Corporation is a non-profit, registered organization in Newfoundland and Labrador which represents all core user groups of the Avalon Trailway which is part of the Newfoundland Trailway. Those core users are walkers, hikers, bicyclists, ATVers, snowmobilers, skiers and equestrian riders. Their organization's focus is to promote responsible multi-use activities for those using the trail. They promote community partnerships with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, the CBS/Paradise Community Based Policing Program and surrounding towns. Conception Bay South, NL. Canadian Off-Highway Vehicle Distributors Council - The Canadian Off-Highway Vehicle Distributors Council (COHV), formerly the Canadian All-Terrain Vehicle Distributors Council (CATV), originally founded in 1984, is a national, non-profit, trade association representing the responsible interests of the major ATV and off-highway motorcycle manufacturers, distributors and retail outlets of OHV related products and services. The member companies of the COHV account for over 90 percent of all the new OHVs sold in Canada. Fédération Québécoise des Clubs Quads - La Fédération Québécoise des Clubs Quads (FQCQ) est une union de plusieurs associations, clubs en ce qui nous concerne. The 'Fédération Québécoise des Clubs Quads' (FQCQ) is an organization amalgamated with many associations, in our case it is with Clubs. The FQCQ is a non-profit organization, our main goal is to develop the Quad sport in the province of Quebec. Manitoba All Terrain Vehicle Association - The MATVA's goal is to promote and encourage safe, responsible, and organized ATV trail riding throughout Manitoba. New Brunswick All Terrain Vehicle Federation - The New Brunswick All Terrain Vehicle Federation's role at the provincial level is to represent the interests of all ATV enthusiasts, ensuring that our sport continues to grow and be recognized as a safe and responsible form of all season outdoor recreation. Newfoundland T'Railway Council - The Newfoundland T'Railway Council is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the development of a recreational trail from St. John's to Port aux Basques using the former Canadian National railway line. Its mandate is to promote multi-use trail development and to preserve abandoned railway lines for future use such as hiking, biking, equestrian, snowmobile, ATV and cross-country ski trails. Known as the Newfoundland T'Railway Provinical Park, the rail bed route extends for 883 km (548 miles) linking urban rural and wilderness areas. Gander, NL. Ontario Federation of ATV Clubs - The OFATV's top priority is club development. They have developed many key guidelines and policies designed to assist their member clubs throughout their development, while fostering strong partnerships within their communities. Through the OFATV, ATV clubs have access to these guidelines and policies, and can acquire liability insurance coverage, which is necessary when dealing with other organizations and developing trails. The OFATV also acts as a 'voice' for all ATV riders in Ontario, and is in constant dialogue with several government ministries. Yukon Off-Road Riders Association - The Yukon Off-Road Riders Association promotes responsible and safe recreational and commercial ATV and off-road motorcycle riding, provides resources for all recreational and commercial ATV and off-road motorcycle riders, and provides education programs promoting responsible ridership. ATV Organizations (USA)Idaho ATV Association - The Idaho ATV Association is comprised of ATV riders throughout Idaho who share some common interests and concerns. The purpose of the association is to foster, promote and enhance the use of ATVs for recreational purposes in the state of Idaho, to educate, encourage and promote the safe and responsible use of ATVs, to organize and sponsor ATV rides and events, to cooperate with public land management and/or regulatory agencies, but always reserving the right to oppose regulations or actions the Association considers unfair and/or not serving the best interest of the members, to sponsor the enactment of fair state, federal and private land use laws and regulations pertaining to the ownership and operation of ATVs, to actively oppose such laws and regulations as determined to be detrimental to the best interests of the members, and to actively seek out and build mutually beneficial relationships with other recreational users of public land. Northwest Quad Association - The Northwest Quad Association (NQA) was founded in January 1999, mainly because of the attacks on the sport of ATVing. They represent ATV enthusiasts in written, electronic, and live communication with government agencies and with off-road groups and committees. Membership meetings are every two or three months in the Lynnwood to Mt Vernon area. Washington ATV Association - The WAATVA promotes and encourages participation in the outdoor recreational activity of ATVing. They support fun, responsible riding activities using safe riding practices, and riding in designated riding areas. They support multi-use of our recreational areas, while supporting resource conservation practices and methods on their natural resources/lands. They work with land managers on access issues, trail development, and maintenance projects while networking with clubs, organizations and agencies for information and education in the pursuit of their interest of ATVing. ATV Safety, Education, and CoursesATV Safety Institute - The All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute, a not-for-profit division of the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America (SVIA), was formed in 1988 to implement an expanded national program of all-terrain vehicle (ATV) safety education and awareness. ASI’s primary goal is to promote the safe and responsible use of ATV’s, thereby reducing accidents and injuries that may result from improper ATV operation by the rider. Canada Safety Council - The Canada Safety Council is a national, non-government, charitable organization dedicated to safety. Their mission is to lead in the national effort to reduce preventable deaths, injuries and economic loss in public and private places throughout Canada. Visit their site for safety information and rider courses. Ergo-Tech - Ergo-Tech offers a Canada Safety Council (CSC) ATV Riders Training Course. This seven-hour course is taught by a CSC-Certified Instructor. At the conclusion of the course, successful participants will receive a Canada Safety Council ATV Riders Certificate. Instructor Shel Harris is an experienced ATV rider of many years. He has owned and operated many ATV's, including two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers, six wheelers and eight wheelers. Email link only. Prince George, BC. Jim Moir - Jim Moir is a qualified Canada Safety Council (CSC) ATV Instructor, and teaches courses in the Lower Mainland. He offers small class sizes (maximum 8 students per class), and has taught a number of courses to LMATV Club members, as well as members of the CNR Police and members of the RCMP in the Richmond Detachment, Chilliwack Detachment, Langley Detachment and Surrey Detachment. Multi Sport Family Adventures - Multi Sport has two CSC-Certified instructors available to teach the WCB-approved Canada Safety Council Rider Certification Course. A separate course is available for children 6 years old and up. Rental quads are available for an additional charge. Langley, BC. Northern Alberta Institute of Technology - NAIT's Fairview Campus (formerly Fairview College) offers Outdoor Power Equipment Technician (OPET) training, and is Canada's only authorized Harley-Davidson Technician training centre. NAIT is also home to Canada's only Apprenticeship Motorcycle Mechanic training program, and has Canada's largest Pre-employment Motorcycle Mechanic training program. Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association - The ROHVA was formed to promote the safe and responsivle use of recreational off-highway vehicles (ROVs) manufactured or distributed in North America. ROHVA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to develop a standard for the equipment, configuration, and performance requirements of ROVs. Irvine, CA. ATV Racing and Competitive EventsHannegan Speedway - Hannegan Speedway is located on the Mount Baker Motorcycle Club's 50 acres in Bellingham, Washington.
